Æ DISCOURSE

ABOUT THE LIBRARY

Æ Discourse is a teaching and learning platform for the architectural histories, theories and ideas, that lay behind architectural design culture. Æ Discourse is a project of the non-profit educational charity, Architecture exchange (Æ), whose public mission is to support education on the built environment providing, developing and distributing publications, organizing workshops, and developing teaching resources that enhance the ability of design professionals, educators, students, and members of the general public to understand issues related to the built environment. The Architecture exchange fosters the progress of architecture as an intellectual and cultural enterprise by prompting dialogues between theory and design, within and beyond academic research and education reflecting how approaches to architecture relate to larger political, historical, cultural, and social ideas.

Æ Discourse offers a range of materials, including over 200 hours of interviews and discussions with leading architectural educators as well as reading lists covering essential theories about architectural design practice and education. Whether you’re a student, researcher, or professional, the Æ Discourse platform provides valuable insights and knowledge to help you deepen your understanding of architecture.
