Joy Knoblauch, PhD is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Michigan where she coordinates the Design Health concentration. She is the author of The Architecture of Good Behavior, Psychology and Modern Institutional Design in Postwar America. She is currently writing a history of resistance to technology focusing on ergonomics from 194x-2000.
