SUMMARY

What should we do with historically problematic buildings? Is it morally reprehensible for a famous architect to work for a repressive regime? Are we morally complicit in the exploitation of those who construct the buildings we design and inhabit? What are architects’ deontological duties to their clients, the profession, and the public? And do architects have the power to uphold them? This dialogue explored ethical challenges in architectural practice and considered how ethics might help clarify and address them.
