BIOGRAPHY
Hilary Sample is an American architect, educator, and co-founder of MOS Architects, an award-winning design practice based in New York. She is the IDC Foundation Professor of Housing Design and coordinator of the Core III Studio at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), and has also taught at institutions such as Harvard, Yale, and the University of Toronto. Sample earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and went on to receive her Master of Architecture with distinction from Princeton University in 2003. Her work has been widely recognized with major awards and exhibited internationally.
