BIOGRAPHY

Pep Avilés is associate professor at Penn State. His research concentrates on the role media played in shaping modern architecture.

Anna-Maria Meister is an architect and historian. She directs the Lise Meitner Research Group “Coded Objects” at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz (KHI) – Max Planck Institute, and is professor for architecture theory and co-director of the saai archive at KIT Karlsruhe.

Cristobal Amunategui is a historian of early modern and modern European architecture. His recent research investigates the intersection between architecture, crowds, and trade in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century France.

Frederike Lausch is an architectural historian and co-founder of the Center for Critical Studies in Architecture (CCSA). (Moderator)
