This dialogue addressed the architectural journal Log, edited by Cynthia Davidson. It looked back at more than 60 issues published over the previous two decades and sought to describe both the history and the overall character of the discourse they contain by considering the journal as a whole. It situated Log within the larger history of ANY and avant-garde architectural discourse in the United States, asking what characterizes that discourse and how it has changed over the years, as reflected in the journal.
