SUMMARY
This dialogue addressed the movement in Dutch architecture in the 1990s known for its pragmatic or realist attitude. It considered the context that gave rise to what the critic Bart Lootsma labelled “SuperDutch,” what characterized the movement, how SuperDutch related to Rem Koolhaas’s work, which buildings of the 1990s best exemplified the movement, including work by OMA and MVRDV, and what its legacy and influence on architecture and architectural discourse have been.
