Graham Harman
Biographical interview
SUMMARY
This interview tracked through Graham’s history as much as his philosophy. He talked about the development of his career and the circumstances of his move, institutionally, into architecture. The discussion focuses on the importance of his studies at St John’s College and the “Great Books” approach there, and about how he is now teaching a similarly broad liberal arts approach to architects at Sci Arc. Graham also described the movement of his work towards his own nascent theory of architecture and some of of the central ideas that he is wrestling with.
